Teoría del conocimiento feminista y criminología de la mujer

El artículo aborda la teoría del conocimiento feminista y su aplicación a la criminología de la mujer. Su objetivo es discutir los criterios que una criminología científica feminista debería poseer, así como las ventajas y paradojas de la crítica feminista a la "normal science" androcéntrica. Metodológicamente, la autora analiza tres tendencias epistemológicas feministas: empirismo, punto de vista femenino y posmodernismo, examinando la categoría "género". Constata que la criminología tradicional ignora la sexualización de la sociedad, que el concepto de criminalidad es socialmente construido y que persisten omisiones teóricas. Concluye que la criminología feminista debe deconstruir los conceptos de género, crimen y criminal.
