Abstract

Globalization and technological advances have brought numerous challenges to criminal investigation. Social relations have intensified to such an extent that there are no longer any boundaries for committing crimes. The old investigative measures no longer achieve the objective of properly investigating evidence of materiality and authorship of crimes, which means that changes and innovations in terms of investigative techniques, people training, international cooperation, among others are necessary.
