Restorative protagonism and brazilian criminal system

The present work proposes an analysis of the foundations of Restorative Justice and its possible insertion in the Brazilian legal field through existing criminal alternatives. Seeking tangible possibilities for the conventional criminal system, we work on the implementation of a "double track" model, or Dual Track Model, studied by Daniel Van Ness, which would coexist with the current punitivista model. Through studies dealing with the theme, especially those of Howard Zehr, it is intended to add consistency to the evolution of independent systems of conflict management, based exclusively on restorative precepts with the perspective of reducing the damage caused by conventional criminal justice and the very existence of the conflict.
