The "Anticrime" Bill sent to Congress by the Executive Branch provides significant changes in the Brazilian criminal procedure. It widens and creates consensual mechanisms between the parties. The article analyses CNJ and TJSP statistics in order to demonstrate that the alleged reasoning to this Bill is not supported by empirical evidence.
