IBCCRIM Bulletin reaches its 400th edition in March 2026, celebrating 33 years as a critical and plural space in the field of criminal sciences. Since its foundation in 1993, the journal has established itself as a trench of ideas against hegemonic punitive thinking, promoting interdisciplinary approaches, the defense of human rights, and democratic criminal justice. Through three distinct phases—beginnings, consolidation, and influence—the Bulletin has maintained scientific rigor, open access, and engagement with urgent issues such as mass incarceration, lawfare, and structural violence. Its commitment to critical renewal and the training of new generations reinforces its mission as an instrument of democratic resistance and social transformation.
