Abstract

On November 28, 2018, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights condemned Mexico for the violation of several guarantees protected by the American Convention on Human Rights (Pact of San José, Costa Rica), highlighting the gender-based violence and discrimination suffered by eleven women, who were detained during protests.
