Abstract

On August 19, the 2nd Panel of the Federal Supreme Court granted a preliminary injunction to order the reduction of the prison population of the Pacaembu/SP Penitentiary Progression Center to the limit of 137.5%, under the terms of art. 4, § 1, of CNPCP Resolution 05/2016, through the adoption of early release or house arrest.
