This research analyzes whether racism would persist in future scenarios of mind-uploading to machines, even without the physical body. It starts from the problem that discrimination is not limited to skin color but is anchored in cultural and symbolic patterns. The hypothesis is that penal selectivity and prejudice against Black people would continue operating via algorithms, reproducing historical structures of domination. The adopted method is qualitative, with a hypothetical-deductive approach, based on a literature review in the fields of criminology, post-humanism, and racial studies, especially within the Brazilian context.
