Ecocide, a crime against humanity?

The present text intends to analyze the reflexes of the ecocide typification in Brazil through the Bill 2.787/19. Therefore, starting from the discussions (and divergences) that involve the theme in the International Criminal Court, the question is: to what extent would the criminalization of ecocide and its introduction in the catalog of crimes against humanity contribute to the effective constitutional environmental protection?
