The Anticrime Bill and its desire for mass incarceration as a painkiller solution to a criminal policy doomed to failure

The criminal and penitentiary policy inherent in the Brazilian Anti-Crime Bill reinforces the punitivist social imaginary of a society lacking minimum human rights. Society wants to see the perpetrator being tortured in jails, and the media backs this up because it profits from selling images that violate those involved in crimes. Thus urge inclusive criminal and prison public policies.
