With this striking but realistic phrase, Carlos Augusto, a resident of Morro do Alemão, in Rio de Janeiro, talked to the French newspaper on 22.03.20. It shows the state of the art of the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil. It seems that one lives, in a certain way, the narratives of Albert Camus, José Saramago and, above all, Giovanni Boccaccio. The world today revolves around the news about Covid-19 and waits for the number of dead and sick people as if waiting for the time to face the worst.
