Abstract

This article critically analyzes the Jury Trial in Brazil, highlighting its democratic relevance and the challenges faced in its structure and functioning. While demystifying the main criticisms directed at the jury, the study proposes reforms to improve the institution, drawing from international practices and a closer alignment with the accusatory system.
