Abstract

The article reproduces the votes of the rapporteur of the Commission on Political Dead and Disappeared Persons in the proceeding on the recognition of Zuzu Angel's name as a fatal victim of the military regime, for the purposes of Law 9,140/95. The exposition reconstructs the report, describing the death in a car accident in 1976, Zuzu Angel's militancy in denouncing the torture and death of her son Stuart, the monitoring of her steps by security agencies, and her feeling of being threatened. The text examines the omissions of the police inquiry, the criminalistic report, the request for reconsideration, and the new testimonial and expert evidence. The investigation concludes in favor of the request, voting for reconsideration of the previous decision.
