Abstract

The article proposes a project for evaluating the criminal justice system understood as an articulated set of state bodies aimed at criminal repression. The exposition examines the concept of the criminal justice system, the bodies that compose it, the measures for evaluating organizational performance and the phases and activities of the system, from the criminal occurrence to penal execution. The investigation adopts the methodology of interorganizational analysis of the work process, based on Zaffaroni and Leo G. de Almeida. The text builds indicators and equations of productivity, success and contribution to the condemnatory sanction and concludes that external control of the system is necessary as a democratic requirement.
