Author Biography

José Carlos Dias, Universidade de São Paulo - USP - São Paulo/SP

Graduado pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo (1963), presidiu a Comissão Justiça e Paz da Arquidiocese de São Paulo (1979-80), foi Secretário da Justiça do Estado de São Paulo (1983-86), Ministro da Justiça (1999-2000), Coordenador da Comissão Nacional da Verdade (2011-2014) e membro do Conselho de Administração da OSESP – Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo. É presidente da Comissão Arns de Defesa dos Direitos Humanos. É autor dos livros de poesia Miragens do meu deserto (Editora Talarico, 1953) e Vozes perdidas (Editora Saraiva, 1957).
