In recent years, the role of criminal attorneys has changed with changes in the criminal justice system. However, fearlessness and independence have always been and continue to be fundamental conditions for the exercise of criminal law practice. In addition, the ethical duty to encourage conciliation grows in importance as there is, actualy, a wide range of negotiating spaces in criminal proceedings.
