Abstract

Classifying corruptive modalities is not always an easy task. This work will propose a general taxonomy of the type with four levels of differentiation between corruptive species and subspecies, considering four component elements (payment, official act, agreement, lawfulness of the act). There will be a graphical representation of the system in two models, in order to finally separate the components of four types of conduct: conflicts of interest, gratuities, facilitation payments and bribes. The model will allow a clearer and more precise classification, with gains in the proportionality and effectiveness of the anti-corruption system.
