This paper analyzes the productive restructuring on the periphery of contemporary capitalism and its impacts on the management of labor and the industrial reserve army, mediated by the State and its repressive apparatus. It starts from a critical/radical perspective of the problem, taking as the primary determinant of the criminalization processes and genocide of black, poor and peripheral youth the historically determined relations of production.
