The article examines the relevance of the theory of objective imputation in resolving concrete cases. Based on the critical analysis of a Supreme Court of Spain’s sentence, it investigates the quality of the discussions that the objective imputation brings to the crime theory. It verifies, based on lessons mainly from Spanish studies and cases, under what conditions a result can be attributed to the one that caused it.
