Abstract

Many times seen as a promise keeper, the judiciary reproduces and amplifies the institutional collapse arising from the contradiction between the growing influence on the collective life and the crisis of legitimacy itself. Activist deviations, thus, expose a gigantic but impotent power. They expose the protagonist role, but at the same service time to populism. A liberal in the speech, but conservative in practices. First democratically funded, but ultimately authoritarian, which is what is criticized here.
