Expectations about IBCCRIM's 2019/2020 management were not few and far between. Being the first board of directors elected in an open and transparent process in the institute's 28 years of existence not only brought legitimacy, but also an enormous responsibility to fulfil the wishes of thousands of members who demanded more democracy, inclusion and engagement by the institute in the burning issues of our society.
